IT'S A GREAT GREAT WORLD 大世界!

Our local Singapore type movie is on screen today! It's a great great world 大世界. This movie is directed by Kelvin Tong and many of our local casts! Starring Mediacorp artistes like Joanne Peh, Xiang yun, Kym Ng, Zhang Zhen Huan, Huang Wen Yong and familiar comedy names such as Henry Thia, Marcus Chin and not forgetting a singer with beautiful voice, Olivia Ong.

I personally have not watch this movie but from watching the trailer i believe it is a comedy type movie. With Henry Thia and Marcus Chin starring in it, definitely will make you laugh out loud and with a 6-pac abs after finish watching. Basically from what i seen, the story is about this amusement park called Great World in the 1940s. You will get to know each character where they lived, worked and played. You will also be seeing a lot of dancing, singing in the movie. Not forgetting the love story in the movie about how each character fell in love with each other in Great World.

This might consider a pre-Chinese New Year gathering for you and your families when you bring them to watch this movie together. It is even better if your parents who have been through the 1940s era, this movie will indeed let them indulge in reminiscence! After the movie, they might also tell you some of their old grand father stories~ =)

Bruce Lee, My Brother 李小龙

Wing Chun? Ip Man? Perhaps you have heard these name a lot of times. What about our legend Bruce Lee? The moment you hear his name, you know who he is and what he does. An Actor, a Martial Artist and Bodybuilder(perhaps). Have you ever watch his movie? For example: Fist of Fury, Way of the Dragon, Enter the Dragon, Game of Death I/II and one of the famous television show The Green Hornet . It was an outstanding movie and TV show where he display his fighting moves and style based on the Martial Arts he learned. He was also the founder of Jeet Kune Do which is a form of Martial Arts he created. He has the most defined physique that most of the bodybuilder wanted and many are curious of the way he trained to get that body. He is also a philosopher himself.



This is the latest movie which talks about the younger days of Bruce Lee. What kind of person he is, what school did he studied in,  what leads him to meeting Ip Man who taught him Wing Chun? Bruce Lee is always engaging in street fights his buddies, Kong and Unicorn. What leads him to all these street fights and how all these troubles endangered his life.

So, after you watched this movie i guess you might want to start taking up lesson for Wing Chun. And for the guys you might want to start to visiting the gym and train hard to get his AWESOME physique!

I hope you would not miss this movie.

Rapunzel : A Tangled Tale

 If you are a fan of animated-type movie then this will definitely suit your taste! This is the latest animated musical movie from Walt Disney Pictures: Rapunzel : A Tangled Tale. I had watched it and the movie was quite charming and provides me with ample laugh out loud moments. There was many funny moments as well as sad part in this movie. Basically it's full of action, romance, songs(just like Disney princess style) and some unexpected yet interesting plot in the movie. For families who does not know where to go every weekend for their family day, this is the right movie for you people and kids will definitely love it and you will have lots of laughter and fun after watching.

Basically this movie is about: A most wanted and charming bandit Flynn Rider (voice of Zachary Levi) is taken hostage by Rapunzel (voice of Mandy Moore) a beautiful feisty teen with 70 feet of golden hair who was tower-bound, locked away for years and was looking for a chance out of the tower. And so, the unlikely duo make a deal and set off their escapade filled with adventure, fun and lots of laughter.

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS

This is one of my favorite movie, Harry Potter!! Yeah, it's been a long wait and finally it has arrived but it's only part 1! It was released on the 19-11-10 and most of the cinemas are all FULLY BOOKED! Can you imagine how popular is this movie?!?! Well anyway, i was able to catch it last weekend and it was truely AWESOME!

Here's the short storyline of this movie: Voldemort's power is growing stronger. He now has control over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, and Hermione decide to finish Dumbledore's work and find the rest of the Horcruxes to defeat the Dark Lord. But little hope remains for the Trio, and the rest of the Wizarding World, so everything they do must go as planned. Written by Chris Green
